Tributes
Make

Goods
If
you were to start a camp for terminal and chronically ill children,
where would you start? After you find a 25-acre site, you need to start
a list -- a very long list -- of everything you’ll need.
Every
year we need to stock our camps with the necessary supplies, such as
toys, new clothing, art supplies, sports equipment, body art paints,
CDs, and games. Any gift-in-kind is greatly appreciated and is
tax-deductible.
Since we provide transportation for all of our campers from all over the world, we are always in need of frequent flyer miles. If you have miles mounting up going nowhere fast, we welcome donations of unused airline miles.
While camp is in session, we need to feed and supply over 200 people for the week. Following is a partial list of requirements for a single session of Camp Dream Street. If you have access to any such items in bulk, we would appreciate your generosity. Please contact our office to make arrangements.
Volunteers
If you live in the Los Angeles area, you can become a part of our dedicated fund-raising group. Monthly meetings are held in the Beverly Hills area where we plan a variety of events and activities that help raise the money to fund our camps. These efforts involve planning and executing each and every aspect of events such as dinner dances, comedy club nights, golf tournaments, and creative mailers.
If you prefer a more “hands-on” contribution, you can spend one of the most memorable and gratifying weeks of your life as a volunteer counselor. Spend the week playing, swimming, dancing, working on a talent show, doing arts and crafts and various other camp activities with these children whose medical conditions have sidelined them from participation for so long. Put your personal life on the back burner as you spend an unforgettable week laughing, playing, and growing with the Camp Dream Street children. Guaranteed to be one of the most memorable weeks of your life!
